Accused child predator Raymond Hall appeared in District Court Monday morning to be arraigned on charges related to an alleged third victim of his.
Hall, 57, of Pottsville, is currently being held at Schuylkill County Prison related to two other cases involving sex crimes against children.
Last week, the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office filed charges related to an alleged third victim of Hall’s.
That third victim claims he was subjected to Hall’s sexual advances over a period of years, from 2007-2011, when he was a juvenile aged 13-17 years. These incidents allegedly occurred at locations in Palo Alto, Port Carbon, New Philadelphia, and in Columbia County.
At his arraignment before Senior Magisterial District Judge Edward Lewis in Port Carbon, Hall did not say much but did mutter something about having a question related to one of the 25 charges he’s facing in this latest case. However, he did not ask any questions, noting that he did not have a lawyer present.
Lewis set bail at $25,000 in this third case against Hall. He’s already being held on $250,000 in the first case and $100,000 in the second. Charges in the first two cases have already been waived to Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled in this most recent case.
Investigators continue to ask for other potential victims of Hall to come forward. They can contact the District Attorney’s Office or Pottsville Bureau of Police.
