National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Schuylkill County.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
This watch also covers the following counties: Adams, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Perry, Philadelphia, Pike, and York.
NWS says showers and thunderstorms are likely in Schuylkill County, especially after 3 p.m. Friday. A similar risk of showers and thunderstorms exists for Saturday as well.
