Weatherly 360, Nativity 366
Weatherly earned a hard-fought six-stroke road victory over Nativity, 360–366, in Schuylkill League action at Schuylkill Country Club.
Nativity’s Steve Karinch claimed match medalist honors with a team-low 80, followed closely by Layne Pasker with an 83. Harry Marks (101) and Bo McDonald (102) rounded out the top four counting scores for the Green Wave.
Weatherly answered with superior scoring depth across its entire lineup to take the victory. Eli Brown led the Wreckers with an 83, while Brad Connors (91), Chance Stauffer (93), and Jacob Hinkle (93) supplied the key counting cards to secure the team win.
Northern Lebanon 305, Minersville 337
Garrett Sukeena carded a team low 74 and was backed by Emma Troutman and her 76 but it wasn’t enough for the Battlin’ Miners in a non-league loss to Northern Lebanon on Tuesday.
Northern Lebanon was powered by medalist Christian Rizzo and his 73. All four scoring cards for the non-league team were under 80 on the day.
Minersville also got scoring rounds from Trista Troutman (93) and Sheldon Fickes (94).
Tamaqua 314, Lourdes Regional 327, Panther Valley 361
Tamaqua swept a tri-match with the Red Raiders and Panthers on Tuesday. The Red Raiders topped Lourdes to go 1-1 on the day. No individual results were made available to The Canary.
