If your Pennsylvania license plate is damaged or hard to read, you’ve got a chance this week to get it replaced free of charge.
State Sen. Dave Argall and Rep. Tim Twardzik are hosting an event at Schuylkill Haven Borough Hall, 333 Center Ave., on Wednesday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The state is required to replace illegible and damaged plates for free. A Schuylkill Haven police officer will be on hand at this event to determine if your plate fits those specifications.
If it does, they’ll sign a form to get you a new plate.
Registration is required to attend this event. You can do so by calling 570-773-0891.
