Schuylkill County Man Reportedly Said He Snorted Ketamine, Meth Before Walking Naked in Haven

A Schuylkill County man was hospitalized and then charged after police say they found him walking naked on Dock St. in Schuylkill Haven late last month.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on June 22, police in Schuylkill Haven say they received reports of a nude man walking near the Chinese restaurant on Dock St.

Police arrived in the 400 block of Dock St. and attempted to talk to the man – later identified as Jordan Pflueger, 37, of Schuylkill Haven – but he was all over the place and not making any sense.

Pflueger reportedly said that he needed help. Police say they noticed that Pflueger had a laceration on his hand and a white powdery substance around his nostrils and mouth.

When police asked Pflueger what the white substance was, he reportedly said “white powder.” He continued to mumble and not make any sense, police say.

Pflueger was taken to the nearby ambulance building to an EMS evaluation. When an EMS tech attempted to speak to Pflueger, he reportedly continued to mumble and yell. He was then taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-East in Pottsville.

On the way to the hospital, Pflueger reportedly became a little more coherent and told EMS personnel that he’d snorted ketamine and methamphetamine.

At the hospital, police say they were filling out paperwork for Pflueger to undergo mental health evaluations and overheard his telling hospital staff that he’d also smoked synthetic marijuana.

Pflueger has been charged with open lewdness, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. He’ll have to answer to those charges at a preliminary hearing before District Magistrate Judge AJ Serina later this month.
