Schuylkill County Commissioners will meet virtually once again on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
And you can listen in and participate by joining the Commissioners Zoom call.
Schuylkill County Commissioners Meeting Call-in Information for Sept. 2, 2020
Here’s how to join and participate in this week’s meeting:
- Dial: 301-715-8592
- Enter Meeting ID#: 95496896043
You do not need a passcode to join the call.
This week’s Agenda looks relatively boring but you never know what items will be brought up during the “New Business” portion of the meeting. And then there could be potential “New New Business” that’s added late and didn’t make the public Agenda.
Of course, there are 2 Public Comment portions of the meeting which have been can’t-miss entertainment recently.
The first Public Comment portion happens toward the beginning of the meeting and is supposed to pertain to items on the public Agenda exclusively.
A second Public Comment portion of the meeting happens toward the end. That can be on any topic a person wants to discuss.
However, last week, Commissioners Chairman Boots Hetherington attempted to thwart one member of the public from discussing new accusations in the Commissioner George Halcovage scandal. That attempt prompted a scolding from another elected official, Clerk of Courts Maria Casey, who reminded Hetherington that the public could discuss any issue they wanted.
Here’s a copy of this week’s public Agenda for the meeting on Sept. 2:
