Best FREE NFL Week 15 DFS Lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings PLUS NFL Picks

Happy Sunday Canary Crew!  HO HO HO!  I hope Santa was good to you and yours because your boy the Flashlight is about to deliver some late gifts in the form of cold hard cash.

Last week was not good.  Letdown city by my key guys and not even within throwing distance of a cash line on either site.  My sincerest apologies, I’ll do my best to get you on the right players this week.

As for gambling I went 4-2 on my 6-pack of picks but for reasons I’m unable to explain my update didn’t post to the site. So the picks are MIA.  For the record last week’s winners were Dolphins +1, Texans/Colts un 51.5, Bears/Vikings ov 47, 49ers/Cowboys ov 45.5.  We lost on Bucs -6.5 and Eagles +6.

WEATHER ALERTS: Nothing that will significantly affect fantasy value. Some cold drizzle/rain in Washington and Baltimore but nothing that is going to materially affect fantasy production.

I’ve been working all week to put together my lineups and we’re going to take advantage of some recent news.  I’ll hit you with THE FLASHLIGHT’S CORE – These are “my guys” for the week who are common between my lineups on both FanDuel and DraftKings.  This is an unusual week where the lineups between sites are nearly identical except for the FLEX plays.  Then I’ll let you know who I’m using to fill out each roster by site.  Finally, I’ll show you my lineups.  Keep in mind that I do make changes on Sunday morning if news breaks.  If that happens I’ll tweet out the link to this updated article.

So make sure you follow me on Twitter @FlashlightDFS for my latest updates, last minute info, game day entertainment, seasonal or daily lineup advice or just to shoot the breeze about football.

QUARTERBACK

Deshaun Watson ($8500 FD/$7600 DK) – In Watson we trust.  Don’t worry about the Bengals blocking up the crippled Steelers offense last week.  Watson will light up the Bengals and set us a nice baseline to start the day.

RUNNING BACK

Nick Chubb ($9000 FD/$7800 DK) – I was on Chubb before the news about the Browns WR corps broke.  This should further solidify him as the #1 option in today’s matchup vs. the Jets who are missing their #1 defensive lineman due to injury.

Miles Sanders ($7300 FD/$7000 DK) – The struggles of the Cowboys defense to stop the run is well documented and they’re even worse without LB Leighton Vander Esch who will miss today’s game.  He’s got 36 touches over the last two weeks and it seems like Doug “Bozo” Pederson has finally figured out that you should let your best player touch the ball a lot.

WIDE RECEIVER

Cooper Kupp ($6800 FD/$6600 DK) – This is a prime matchup for Kupp who will feast on the epically weak Seahawks defense who rank dead last in passing yards allowed this season.

Russell Gage ($5800 FD/$5100 DK) – Gage has settled in nicely to the WR2 spot for Atlanta.  Over his last three games he has either 80+ yards or a TD and has seen 25 targets over those three contests.

Mike Williams ($5700 FD/$4500 DK) – Risky play here but I’m making a strong move in the hopes that Williams is the guy that soaks up most of the Keenan Allen targets who will likely miss today.  There are 10.5 per game to go around and I expect a (finally) fully healthy Williams to see at least half of them.  However…if Williams is too aggressive for you here are alternatives who play at 1pm (Williams is a 4pm start)

FANDUEL SAFETY PLAY – Tee Higgins ($5800 FD)

DRAFTKINGS SAFETY PLAY – Jameson Crowder ($4500 DK)

TIGHT END

Logan Thomas ($6000 FD/$4900 DK) – Thomas has been on fire lately but has been consistent all season.  Carolina has struggled defensively all season and their depleted LB corps struggles to cover the TE.

FANDUEL

THE FLASHLIGHT’S CORE PLUS:

FLEX – Le’Veon Bell ($6400 FD) – Bell takes the starting role with CEH out with an injury.  He’s facing the Falcons who don’t cover pass catching RB very well and will see most of the work today and even more if they start to blow out the Falcons.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS Indianapolis Colts ($4300 FD) – As a Steelers fan it pains me to say this but…the Steelers stink right now and nobody seems to be able to figure it out.  The Colts in the meantime have scored double digit fantasy points in their last 3 games on the power of 10 sacks, 7 turnovers and 1 TD.

DRAFTKINGS

THE FLASHLIGHT’S CORE PLUS:

FLEX – Darrell Henderson Jr ($4500 DK) – Ew…I know…but with Akers missing due to injury Henderson is going to get most of the work today.  He may lose short yardage carries but he can run and he can catch and that’s a good combo for a game that has shootout potential.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS – New York Jets ($2000 DK) – At bare minimum price vs. the Browns who have no WR…we only need 6 points to make value here with the Jets.  They’ve topped 5 DK points in 3 of their last 4 games.

THE FLASHLIGHT’S FAVORITE BETS

4-2 last week brings us to 56-41 (57.7%) on the season.  Here we go.

Falcons +11

Bengals/Texans ov 44.5

Washington pk

Cowboys +3

Cowboys ML +133

Steelers +.5

Good luck this week!
