Best FREE NFL Week 14 DFS Lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings PLUS NFL Picks

Happy Sunday Canary Crew!  As we enter Week 14 of this NFL season I think it’s important that we all take a second to appreciate the fact that it looks like we’re about to get a full NFL season in the books.  We only have 4 weeks left until playoffs so I’ll be taking some time today to plant myself in front of my TVs and take in all the NFL action I can because it’ll be done before we know it.

There’s no way to sugar coat it, last week sucked on DraftKings.  My faith in Miles Sanders and the Philadelphia Eagles was misplaced and cost us a winning week over on DraftKings.  We got away with Sanders over on FanDuel mainly due to the Packers Defense who lifted us up over the pay line.  I play more action over on FanDuel so it ended up being a slightly profitable week but not up to my expectations.

Last week was an ice bath as far as gambling went.  I was on the wrong side of nearly everything and went 1-5 with my only win being the Bills +1.  YTD we’re 50-35 for 58.8% but I’m looking for a big week to get us back over the 60% mark.

WEATHER ALERTS: Nothing that will significantly affect fantasy value.

I’ve been working all week to put together my lineups and we’re going to take advantage of a few changes at the RB position.  I’ll hit you with THE FLASHLIGHT’S CORE – These are “my guys” for the week who are common between my lineups on both FanDuel and DraftKings.  This is an unusual week where the lineups between sites are nearly identical except for the FLEX plays.  Then I’ll let you know who I’m using to fill out each roster by site.  Finally, I’ll show you my lineups.  Keep in mind that I do make changes on Sunday morning if news breaks.  If that happens I’ll tweet out the link to this updated article.

So make sure you follow me on Twitter @FlashlightDFS for my latest updates, last minute info, game day entertainment, seasonal or daily lineup advice or just to shoot the breeze about football.

QUARTERBACK

Mitchell Trubisky ($6800 FD/$5600 DK) – Hello darkness my old friend…Yeah we’re going back to Mitch this week.  Look, he’s got a fantastic match up against the reeling Houston Texans defense.  Houston will be able to put points up as well and Mitch was actually throwing it pretty well last week until the coaching staff decided to try to sit on a lead and ended up losing.

RUNNING BACK

Ezekiel Elliott ($7600 FD/$6600 DK) – Don’t forget this guy was a consensus top 5 fantasy football pick in August.  He’s still seeing the lion’s share of touches in Dallas and he gets to go up against the Bengals who are gutted defensively, especially on the D line.  He’s a premier back at a mid-range price with a very good match up.

DeAndre Washington ($4800 FD/$4000 DK) – Washington is the last man standing in Miami with the rest of the RB room either hurt or on the COVID list.  He’ll get plenty of work and the Chiefs aren’t terrifying.  We’ll use the salary relief later…

WIDE RECEIVER

Davante Adams ($9600 FD/$9300 DK) – Big price tag, bigger value.  The Lions are terrible against the pass and Adams has established himself as fantasy gold.

Keke Coutee ($5600 FD/$5000 DK) – After a good week we’re going to Coutee as he faces the Bears in a game that has shootout potential.  He’s been playing mostly in the slot and should avoid the outside corners who are the strength of the Bears.

TIGHT END

Travis Kelce ($8200 FD/$7400 DK) – He’s a WR in a TE body.  His production is so far and above the other TE that I can’t justify not playing him, especially after I foolishly doubted Darren Waller last week.

FANDUEL

THE FLASHLIGHT’S CORE PLUS:

RUNNING BACK – Mike Davis ($6800 FD) – With CMC missing another game we’ll turn to Davis who has filled in nicely.  He gets Denver who were run all over by the Saints two weeks ago.  Davis has 19+ touches in his last 2 games.

WIDE RECEIVER – Allen Robinson ($7000 FD) – As mentioned above, Houston’s defense sucks.  ARob is a target monster and will see a lot of work today.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS – Carolina Panthers ($3400 FD) – Denver loves to turn it over, in fact the lead the NFL in that dubious statistic.  They’re the best low priced option.

DRAFTKINGS

RUNNING BACK – JD McKissic ($4900 DK) – McKissic will see more work this week with no Antonio Gibson.  Add in PPR scoring on DK and he’s a great budget option with TD upside.

WIDE RECEIVER – Mike Williams ($4700 DK) – Another great budget option facing the porous Falcons defense.  Williams is definitely a big play guy and boom or bust but he should be able to boom against one of the league’s worst pass defenses.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS – Dallas Cowboys ($2400 DK) – The Bengals suck and we needed to save money.  Bottom line, this is a little bit of a dart throw but for the cheap defenses the Cowboys have the players who can score for us.

THE FLASHLIGHT’S FAVORITE BETS

1-5 last week, 50-35 (58.8%) on the season.

Giants +2.5

Bucs -7

Texans/Bears ov 45.5

Steelers ML +125

Washington +3

Falcons/Chargers ov 49

Good luck this week!
