A McAdoo man died and a McAdoo woman was seriously injured in a Route 309 vehicle crash in Schuylkill County Saturday morning.
According to State Police-Frackville, the crash happened in Kline Township shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
At that time, a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Urban, 67, of McAdoo, was traveling north in the right lane of Mile Hill Rd. (aka Route 309). Urban’s vehicle went onto the right shoulder of the road and continued north unti lit struck the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked on the side of the road.
Urban suffered fatal injuries and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
His passenger, 64-year-old Amy Urban, suffered serious injuries and was taken by Lehigh Valley Health Network MedEvac to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment.
