BEST Free NFL Week 12 DFS Lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings

week 3 NFL FanDuel DraftKings

Happy Sunday Canary Crew!  We’re on to Week 12 and I’m going to share my lineups for the week with a brief synopsis of why these players made the cut.  Last week didn’t go our way making it two losing weeks for the first time this season.  On FanDuel it was obvious, Deshaun Watson shit the bed.  You can’t pay top dollar for a QB and get 4.96 points and expect to win.  We still only came about 6-7 points shy of the pay line on FanDuel, so Ross Dwelley’s 3rd TD or Brian Hill’s TD rush (BOTH CALLED BACK ON PENALTIES) would have got us paid.

It was even closer on DraftKings as we were only about 2 points shy of the pay line.  Tyler Boyd (1 catch for 10 yards, 2 pts) was a killer.  Again, the Dwelley or Hill TD would have taken care of us but it didn’t work out that way.

Like I always say, DFS is great because we just reload this week and can win it all back! I really like the board this week and I’m confident that we’ll get back to our winning ways this week.

I’m available via Twitter @FlashlightDFS if you have questions about building your lineups on DFS or general fantasy football questions.

So here it is, my best FREE NFL Week 12 Lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings.

FANDUEL

QB – Matt Ryan – Tampa Bay has supplanted Atlanta as the pass defense you want to challenge.  Despite missing a game due to injury Ryan is still in the top 10 of pass attempts, pass yards and fantasy points per game this season. Add in the fact that Tampa’s run D is as good as the pass D is bad AND Atlanta’s RB situation is dire, I could see a 45+ attempt game from Ryan this week.

RB – Saquon Barkley – This guy was far and away the top RB to start the season and early in the DFS season until an ankle injury slowed him down.  While the Bears D has been fearsome to the pass, they are soft versus the run and pass catching RB.  Barkely is the only show in Giants backfield and will have a full day of work against a defense who have given up the 3rd most RB touchdowns, 2nd most RB receptions and 9th most RB fantasy points.

RB – Miles Sanders – Adam Schefter reported that Jordan Howard will miss this week making Sanders the feature back once again.  He got over 80% of the work last week and that should continue.  Seattle hasn’t been a brick wall vs. the run this year and the beauty of Sanders is he’s still cheap enough to pay off his salary with an average game, and if he scores its a bonus.

WR – Michael Thomas – There really shouldn’t be any questions regarding Thomas.  He’s pacing to set NFL records and receptions and yards and the Saints have openly said they will try to do everything possible to help him get there.

WR – Julio Jones – The top WR vs. the worst pass D in a game that will likely shoot out where I expect 45+ pass attempts from the Falcons.

WR – DeVante Parker – Great value option this week vs. a depleted Browns defense.  He’s had 10 targets each of the last two weeks and I’m more confident that Miami will be slinging the ball this week.  Add in that Cleveland is without their two best pass rushers due to suspension and Parker should have time to run free in the secondary this week.

TE – Vance McDonald – Cinci is horrific on defense and McDonald has dominated snaps and targets at TE for Pittsburgh.  According to PFF the Bengals are the 2nd worst defense vs. the TE this season.  With Juju and Conner out this week McDonald will be first option in the red zone as well.

FLEX – Jamison Crowder Crowder has been the man for the Jets after the return of Sam Darnold.  Despite the ineptitude of the Bengals last week Oakland is still a defense we like to target through the air and Crowder has been the top option.  Over the last three weeks he’s averaged 7.66 targets per game and his worst game over the last 3 has been 5/76/1.

DEF – Philadelphia Eagles – We need a budget D since we’re getting some good high priced talent in other spots. Philly has quietly gone from disaster on D to respectable only giving up 14.66 points per game.  This obviously won’t be a shut out vs. Seattle but all they need to pay it off is 6 points, which is their average output from the last three weeks.

DRAFTKINGS

QB – Baker Mayfield – Anyone vs. the Dolphins, right? I like Baker for a couple of other reasons too.  He’s figured out his turnover issues and hasn’t turned it over since the New England game in October.  He faces Miami who struggle to stop any type of offense.  Plus, the Browns D is hurting and Miami should be able to score, meaning this game has shootout potential.  He’s a bargain price as well and I’m confident Mayfield will pay off.

RB – Alvin Kamara  – Carolina isn’t good vs. the the run and they especially suck at defending pass catching RB.  Kamara looks to be fully back from his injury and has racked up 10 targets each of the last two games. I was impressed with his rushing stats vs. the #1 ranked Bucs last week (13/75, 5.8 ypc) and he should improve vs. Carolina.

RB – Miles Sanders  – See above.

WR – Jamison Crowder & DeVante Parker – See above.

WR – Odell Beckham Jr. – Beckham has been a disappointment this season but this is your classic “get right” game for OBJ.  Miami’s corners won’t be able to hang with OBJ and I think everyone in Cleveland has something to prove that the OBJ trade wasn’t a waste.  I expect a big game for the star receiver.

TE – Vance McDonald – See above.

FLEX – Calvin Ridley – As mentioned above Tampa has the worst rated pass defense in the NFL.  Ridley is coming off a great week vs. Carolina and will always benefit from coverage focusing on Julio Jones.  Again, my analysis points towards 45+ pass attempts by Atlanta this game and Ridley gets us exposure to that production at a reasonable price.

DEF – Philadelphia Eagles – See above.

That’s it for the week, good luck Canary Crew!
