A Schuylkill County man was discovered recently laying along the Gold Star Highway in Mahanoy Township.
According to State Police in Frackville, troopers were dispatched to 602 Gold Star Highway for the report of an intoxicated man.
When they arrived, police found 52-year-old George Baucum, of Girardville, laying alongside the roadway.
Police say he was surrounded by a case of beer and a number of empties nearby. Baucum admitted to drinking them. Police cited him for public drunkenness and he was released to a family member.
This is only the latest tale in the exploits of Schuylkill County Man.
