Ever notice how when liberals tell a “joke” they have to tell you it was a joke?
Kinda makes it not funny from the start, right? One could say, even, that it’s not a joke at all. Instead it’s a comment that fell flat and it’s being excused as being “a joke” to take the heat off the person saying it.
That’s what’s happening to Joe Biden right now as video resurfaced of the former Vice President actually in that role addressing members of the military stationed overseas.

Joe Biden and the Stupid Bastards “Joke”
Biden’s talking about himself prior to delivering “a joke” that clearly missed the mark.
He’s alleging speaking kindly of someone behind him but the crowd wasn’t all that impressed, apparently. That’s because he made the praise about himself and his “good judgement”.
Biden then chastised the soldiers and begged for applause.
“Clap for that, you stupid bastards,” Biden “joked” with the crowd.
The troops listening did as they were told and applauded Biden like the saw the APPLAUSE sign light up in the room.
“Man, you are a dull bunch,” the Vice President continued. “It must be slow here, man.”
Sure, some laughed but did it really seem genuine? You can almost make out some mild jeering in the background, off camera.
Was It Really a Joke?
Again, if it must be asked or debated on whether it’s a joke or not, then it’s not a joke. OK, it can be a joke but not a very good one.
This “stupid bastards” joke is one of those jokes that makes you go …
Someone keep an eye on that Marine. He’s about to double over in laughter.
But as soon as this video started making rounds quickly on the internet recently, Biden’s handlers quickly spread word that what the Vice President was saying was obviously in jest.
Even the thing he calls his campaign released a statement on the video, quickly making an excuse for the often bumbling VP.
They said Biden “was jokingly encouraging the audience to clap for an airwoman on stage, and a number of service members can be seen laughing and smiling … Seconds before, he praised them for ‘the incredible sacrifices they make for our country.’”
And, of course, Biden had his backers covering his ass on this one, including Twitter user @TCruzScienceGuy.
He wrote:
“Again… All the marines I KNOW in person thought it was funny. I’m not saying Joe is a better candidate. I’m not suggesting he’s good. I’m saying the crowd actually enjoyed that bit. Calm down. Damn.”
That’s How They Talk in the Major League
We can’t let a Seinfeld reference get away, so maybe Biden was just hanging out with some executives of the late-1990s Houston Astros just before delivering this speech.
Those booze-swilling party guys definitely had a unique way of talking. When George tried explaining his sudden use of “bastards” and “sons of bitches” to Jean Paul Jean Paul after carousing with the Astros execs, he said, “That’s how they talk in the Major League.”
It rubbed off on Jean Paul Jean Paul, so maybe it had the same effect on Biden?
If Jean Paul Jean Paul were to remark on Biden’s campaign right now, following yet another spectacular blunder, even a throwback one, he’d probably say …

They did laugh but it was forced. They are suppose to be showing military bearing and not applauding Political hacks. He was not joking, after he said the “stupid bastards” he followed it up by “you all are slow”. Slow? Like re****ed slow? Or again, showing their military bearing as they have been taught to and not cheer for political leaders because they are not suppose to in uniform. Not to mention they probably thought what he said was dumb and pointless so why the F clap? I spent half of my life around that stuff and he was wrong but it is more that he is a senile old sh**. With about two years in tank. They were showing military bearing, he is too dumb to understand their situation.

Of course, you can make that up and make any false claim that you want to. But the fact is that military aren’t the sensitive snowflakes so many of you biased hacks are, and his joke was appreciated. And the rest of your quote is false. What he said was “dull”, and most servicemen are bright enough to get the humor. Not so much when an orange trust fund baby calls war dead “suckers and losers”.

Shaking hands is very, time consuming. At many, military functions we were there for the duration until dismissed (including the ‘shaking of hands’. The last thing and enlisted in the military wants to do is be held up from doing what they need to be doing in order to ‘shake’ a pols hand…THAT was a good joke. Biden’s was ill-conceived, ill-delivered, and his handlers immediately went into damage control mode the moment it was said. SO it’s obvious the only thing you’re attempting to do is “cover” Biden’s ass.

Joe Biden is in the begging stages of alziemers. He does not remember what he has said in recent events. The mumbling, confusion and quick to anger, then passively ignoring and losing his place. They are all they symptoms and effects of mental decline.
