North Schuylkill has jumped out to a fast start in the 2026 Schuylkill League golf season, thanks to its sweep of a quad meet Friday, where it defeated Tamaqua and Panther Valley.
The Spartans are now 3-0 on the young season after taking care of Pottsville on Thursday.

Here is a look at results from Friday’s matches in Schuylkill League golf.
Minersville 327, Weatherly 332
Minersville rode a pair of matching 74s from co-medalists Garrett Sukeena and Emma Troutman to edge out Weatherly by five strokes, 327–332, in a competitive Schuylkill League showdown at White Birch Golf Course on Friday.
Troutman carded a 34 on the back nine after turning in a 40 on the front. Sukeena was steady from start to finish, opening with a 36 on the front nine. Sheldon Fickes (88) and Trista Troutman (91) added to Minersville’s scoring on Friday.
Weatherly put together a well-balanced effort across its entire card, led by Chance Stauffer’s team-low 77. Eli Brown (83), Brad Connors (86), and Jacob Hinkle (86) rounded out the top four counting scores for the Wreckers, keeping the team total tight right to the wire.
Blue Mountain 336, Lourdes Regional 337
Blue Mountain edged out Lourdes by a single stroke, 336–337, at Indian Hills Golf Course on Friday.
Lourdes Regional’s Vivian Reiprish captured match medalist honors with a round of 75. The Red Raiders built out their top four counting scores with Rylan Wolfgang (85), Walter McGinley (86), and Marshall Mirarchi (91).
However, Blue Mountain’s balance made the ultimate difference, spearheaded by Connor Roeder‘s team-low 81. Owen Crossen (83), Dylan Knittle (84), and Zane Morgan (88) rounded out the Eagles’ top four to snag the one-shot team victory.

North Schuylkill posted an impressive team score of 318 at White Birch Golf Course to sweep multi-team Schuylkill League action, topping Tamaqua (325) and Panther Valley (359).
The Spartans were led once again by Jace Jackson (74). Dylan Cairo (77), Stephen Minahan (83), and Sam Klingerman (84) rounded out the scoring.
Tamaqua’s Sam Vinc delivered a second impressive round in as many days, firing a 66 on Friday. Jacob Fritzinger (81), Brody Boyle (87), and Mason Evans (91) rounded out the scoring for the Blue Raiders.
Pottsville picked up a head-to-head victory over Panther Valley behind a team-low 83 from Danny Markus. Brody Kline (87), Connor Well (87), and Colton Oswald (91) were the top four scorers for the Crimson Tide.
Panther Valley was paced by Michael Demyanovich, who shot a team-best 85. Spencer Schirer (87), Braden Flanagan (92), and Callie Kosciolek (95) completed the Panthers’ counting cards.
Marian Catholic 304, Mahanoy Area 342
The Colts got their 2026 campaign off to a great start, posting the lowest team score of the day Friday in its win over Mahanoy Area, 304-342.
