Here are results from Monday’s action from Schuylkill League golf teams:
Blue Mountain 312, Lourdes Regional 338
Logan Valentine earned match medalist honors with a team-low 76 to lead the Eagles Monday at Schuylkill Country Club. Blue Mountain secured the victory with consistent scoring across its counting group, as Owen Crossen carded a 78, followed by matching 79s from Dylan Knittle and Connor Roeder.
Lourdes Regional was led by Rylan Wolfgang, who turned in a team-best 82. Walter McGinley (83), Marshall Mirarchi (84), and Vivian Reiprish (89) rounded out the top four counting scores for the Red Raiders.
Emmaus 367, Blue Mountain 399
Evan Walters led the charge for the Green Hornets, firing a red-hot 71 to claim match medalist honors. Emmaus put on a clinic at the top of the leaderboard with four golfers shooting 74 or lower, backed by Jake Socci (72), Greyson Schmidt (73), Anderson Francis (74), and Ben Nichols (77).
Blue Mountain was paced by Logan Valentine, who carded a team-best 76. Owen Crossen (78), Dylan Knittle (79), Connor Roeder (79), and Ethan Hartman (87) rounded out the five counting scores for the Eagles.
Minersville 323, Weatherly 328
Garrett Sukeena delivered a spectacular performance for the Battlin’ Miners, carding a 3-under round of 69 (34-35) to capture match medalist honors. Minersville sealed the team win with counting contributions from Emma Troutman (77), Lexi Sukeena (88), and Sheldon Fickes (89).
Weatherly was paced by Brad Connors, who turned in a team-best 76. Chance Stauffer (82), Joey Esposito (84), and Eli Brown (86) rounded out the top four counting scores for the Wreckers.
Pottsville 367, Panther Valley 382
Brody Kline led the way for the Crimson Tide, firing a match-low 87 to claim medalist honors. Pottsville locked up the team victory with counting contributions from Danny Markus (89), Connor Well (94), and Colton Oswald (97).
Panther Valley was led by Spencer Schirer, who carded a team-best 90. Callie Kosciolek (96), Michael Demyanovich (97), and Brayden Flanagan (99) rounded out the top four counting scores for the Panthers.
Schuylkill Haven 307, Nativity 369
Eli Barton put on a clinic for the Hurricanes, firing a brilliant sub-70, match-low round of 68 to capture medalist honors. Schuylkill Haven backed up Barton’s dominant performance with counting cards from Alan Evans (75), Chase Maley (78), and Giuliana Hughes (86).
Nativity was led by Steve Karinch, who carded a team-best 78. Layne Pasker (91), Bo McDonald (99), and Harry Marks (101) completed the top four counting scores for the Green Wave.
North Schuylkill 348, Tamaqua 351
Tamaqua’s Sam Vinc put on another masterclass performance, capturing match medalist honors with a red-hot, 1-under round of 71. Brody Boyle added an 88, while Kenny Bailey (92) and Keith Fink (100) provided the remaining counting cards for the Blue Raiders.
North Schuylkill overcame Vinc’s sparkling card by bunching all four of its counting scorers at 90 or better. Jace Jackson led the way for the Spartans with an 80, followed by Garrett Keninitz (88) and matching 90s from Dylan Cairo and Rylan Coyle to seal the narrow victory.
Marian 335, Mahanoy Area 387
Carter Grant set the tone for the Colts, carding a match-low 77 to earn medalist honors. Marian put together outstanding team depth, placing four golfers in the 80s or better, backed by Brayden Grant (83), Collin Yurkanin (87), and Patrick Bonner (88).
Mahanoy Area was led by Cam Chilinskas, who carded a team-best 91. Connor Bowman (92), along with matching 102s from Declan Kane and Jake Taris, rounded out the top four counting cards for the Golden Bears.
