A fight earlier this month in West Brunswick Township between a Schuylkill County man and a Schuylkill County woman got completely out of hand.
According to information from State Police-Schuylkill Haven, this incident happened back on Nov. 4, just after midnight at a home on Red Dale Rd.
Police say that during the fight, Michele Bosack, 58, attacked 20-year-old Brad Gavalis, of West Brunswick Twp., with a pocket knife.
Gavalis is accused of hitting Bosack in the head with a flashlight during the melee. And he’s also accused of shooting Bosack in the left hip with a pellet rifle.
Bosack was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries and police say they expect to obtain a warrant for her arrest when she’s discharged.
Gavalis was arraigned that night before District Magistrate Edward Tarantelli on a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault and several other misdemeanor charges. He was sent to Schuylkill County Prison but soon posted $10,000 bond for his release.
He is due back in court on Jan. 2, 2024, before District Magistrate AJ Serina for a Preliminary Hearing on these charges.
