Police in Schuylkill County are on the lookout for a fugitive who fled from a traffic stop earlier this week.
According to information released from State Police-Frackville, Michael Fickinger is on the run. Police say Fickinger fled on foot from a traffic stop on W. Main St. in Butler Township at about 3 a.m. on Feb. 25.
Fickinger is allegedly wanted on a state parole violation.
He was last seen wearing a green winter jacket and blue jeans. Fickinger is known to be in the Ashland area, police say.
He is a white man and stands 5-9 and weighs about 150 pounds.
Anyone with information on Fickinger is asked to phone the State Police-Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
