A portion of W. Main St. in Rush Township will be closed later this month as PennDOT crews conduct railroad crossing work.
PennDOT says that W. Main St., between Lofty Rd. and Route 309 will be closed from Aug. 10 through Aug. 21.
Detours around the work zone will utilize Lofty Rd. and Route 309. Local access will be maintained.
Rain is not expected to delay the project.

Interstate 81 South (Foster Township): PennDOT maintenance forces will perform crack sealing between Exit 112 (PA 25) and Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road) starting Aug. 3. A southbound lane restriction will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Aug. 6. Rain will not delay the project.
Morea Road (Mahanoy Township): PennDOT maintenance forces will conduct drainage work between Frackville and Mahanoy City Road from Aug. 3 through Aug. 7. Motorists will face a daytime lane restriction with flagging from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weather will not affect the schedule.
