Forty-two of the area’s top student spellers are set to compete in the 2025 Schuylkill County Regional Spelling Bee.

The 2025 Schuylkill County Regional Spelling Bee will be held this Saturday, March 8, at 9 a.m. in the D.H.H. Lengel Middle School Auditorium in Pottsville. The winner will represent the coal region at the 25th Scripps National Spelling Bee from May 27-29 in Washington, D.C. This year, the National Spelling Bee will be celebrating its 100th anniversary.
