National Weather Service has just issued a Winter Storm Watch for Schuylkill County on Sunday, January 19.
According to the latest information available, the Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. Sunday morning until 9 p.m. Sunday night.
NWS says 4-6 inches of snow is possible in the area on Sunday.
This potentially heavy snow could cause travel problems across the area, especially as temperatures fall through the 20s later on Sunday.
Forecasters warn that changes in the storm’s track between now and then could cause “significant changes” in the snowfall totals.
