Road work on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County this coming week may cause some traffic delays.
According to PennDOT, pothole patching and crack sealing on the interstate will get underway starting Nov. 18.
Crack sealing will be happening on I-81 North between Exit 124 (Route 61) and Exit 131 (Route 54) from Nov. 18-20, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Lane restrictions will be in place during the course of this project.
Starting Nov. 20, pothole patching on I-81 ramps at Exit 138 is expected to cause traffic delays too.
This project is expected to wrap up on Nov. 21.
PennDOT urges motorists to use caution when driving through work zones.
