A Hamburg woman died Thursday morning after she was struck by a vehicle last week in Hamburg.
According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio, Alicia Barlip, 44, was walking in the area of S. Fourth and Pine streets in Hamburg just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, when she was struck by a vehicle.
Barlip was pronounced dead at 3:04 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Buglio said. An autopsy determined she died as a result of the injuries suffered in the incident last week.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office along with Hamburg borough police and the Berks County District Attorney’s Office are investigating this incident.
