A Schuylkill County man is facing charges after an incident involving an almost improbable toss of a water bottle.
According to State Police in Frackville, this incident happened on Sunday evening in Blythe Township, at Skyline Drive and Mall Rd.
A little before 5:30 that evening, a Shenandoah woman says she was traveling north while a guy in a red sedan was passing her on the left.
The woman says as she was driving and the other car passing, the man driving that red sedan hucked an empty plastic water bottle out of his passenger side window.
That water bottle left his car and entered the Shenandoah woman’s open front driver side window, hitting her on the left side of the face. The woman says she didn’t sustain any injuries in the incident.
She also explained to police that there had been no interactions between herself and the bottle chucker prior to the incident.
Later, police were able to identify the man who threw the bottle. They identify him as a 23-year-old from Orwigsburg. Police say he admitted to throwing the bottle but said he had no intention of hitting the woman.
The Orwigsburg man is now being charged with scattering rubbish and harassment.

Your title of this article was pretty ignorant and ill advised. The female victim didn’t deserve the tacky commentary for what happened.

You may be right. She was uninjured, however. Had she been injured, we would have never gone that route.
