A Tremont man was seriously injured during a three-man fight in the borough Friday night.
According to information released by State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the fight broke out around 8 p.m. on E. Main St. in Tremont.
Troopers from the Schuylkill Haven, Frackville, and Jonestown barracks responded to the scene of the brawl. It was suspected that some involved had a knife or gun on them.
1 Injured in Tremont Fight
During the fight, an 18-year-old man from Tremont was seriously injured. Police have not released that person’s name. He was taken to Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of those “bodily” injuries.
Two other men were taken into custody at the scene of the melee:
- Donovan Reed, 20, of Tremont
- Jonathan Bohr, 21, of Tremont
During the course of their investigation, police say they found no evidence a knife or gun were involved in the distrubance.
Reed and Bohr were each arraigned before District Judge Stephen Breyer on a first-degree felony aggravated assault charge, among other offenses, and sent to Schuylkill County Prison. Reed remains there this evening, according to court records. Bohr posted a percentage of $10,000 bail and is out of jail.
They’re due back in court for a Preliminary Hearing before District Judge David Rossi on March 31.
