The history of immigration at Ellis Island will be the focus of a discussion at Schuylkill County Historical Society tonight.
Historical researcher and writer Lindsay Dierolf will lead the discussion.
The program begins Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Society’s headquarters in the former Female Grammar School at 305 N. Centre St. in Pottsville.
Tonight’s event is free for Historical Society members and $5 for the general public.
