There are a pair of upcoming blood drives scheduled for Minersville and Pottsville.
Volunteers in Medicine and the Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be hosting these blood drives later this month and next month.
The first blood drive is schedule for Wednesday, Dec. 27 at the Minersville Library.
Minersville Library is located at 220 S. Fourth St. That blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the 27th.
Next month, on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, another blood drive will be held at Alvernia University Pottsville CollegeTowne, at 500 Progress Ave. in the city. That drive runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Appointments for these drives are required.
To schedule an appointment at one of these blood drives, call Miller-Keystone at 800-223-6667. You can also visit giveapint.org and use Sponsor Code E167 to make an appointment to give blood at either of these events.
Donors must have a valid form of ID with their first and last name along with a photo or signature on that ID.
