STS Offering Free Rides to COVID Vaccine Appointments in Schuylkill County
Schuylkill Transportation System will start offering free riders for COVID vaccine appointments to local residents.
STS announced this service starts Monday, March 8. To get a ride to a vaccine appointment, you’ll need to notify STS by noon on the business day prior to your appointment.
To make a reservation for a free ride to your vaccine appointment or for more information about this service, call 570-429-2701 or 800-832-3322.
According to the latest data, nearly 11% of Schuylkill County residents have gotten their full COVID vaccine dosage since they first got administered in mid-December 2020. So far, this week, about 3,600 people in Schuylkill County have gotten a COVID shot.
