Coronavirus in Pennsylvania

Gov. Wolf Uses Coronavirus Press Conference to Spread Socialist Propaganda

communist propaganda tom wolf

On Monday, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf used the daily Dept. of Health briefing to extend his draconian Stay at Home order in response to the Chinese virus pandemic. We’re all stuck under this order until May 8 now. The previous deadline had been April 30.

He says, on the 8th, some of the business restrictions could be lifted. But lately, Wolf’s been saying a lot of things and on Monday, some of them were quite disturbing.

We’re beginning to think this isn’t about the virus anymore at all. Rather, it’s a vehicle to drive his communist agenda.

When taking questions, he offered up both a dangerous solution for workers who dare to break unemployment laws and a healthy dose of his pinko talking points.

The question that started it Monday came from WNEP-TV:

“A business owner asks: If we have employees that are currently laid off and we call them back to work and they tell us they don’t or won’t come back to work because they’re getting paid more with unemployment and the $600 bonus in a week we’re paying them, what can we do? Can their unemployment be revoked?”

Now, unemployment laws clearly state that if you’re laid off but called back to work, you can’t keep accepting unemployment.

But that’s not what Gov. Wolf said Monday. He answers pretty clearly, “No.”

Apparently, according to the Governor, if an employee doesn’t want to work because they’re making more off this inflated unemployment system, they should just park their butts at home and let the UC money keep rolling in.

Commie Talk from Pennsylvania Governor Wolf

Then, Wolf says something that’s deeply troubling (more troubling than encouraging people to commit unemployment fraud).

“As a former business owner … if you ever face that kind of situation, there’s one really simple thing you can do as an employer and that’s raise the compensation of your employees,” Wolf said.

Piece of advice to our readers who have ideas of demanding a $600 a week raise from their employers: Don’t do it. You’re going to get fired and then you’ll be on unemployment again. And don’t count on that $600 a week bonus being included for much longer.

What Wolf’s doing is spreading communist propaganda.

Commie, commie, traitor to our country.

Telling business owners to raise compensation — especially to such an extreme — is completely tone deaf. And calling it a “really simple” thing to do … just clueless.

Well, that's enough, pinko. You're through. The both of you.

Fact is, most of the employers who’ve been forced to close their doors because of Wolf’s senseless, secretive, and unending order may not be able to open back up for business ever again.

To that end, the employees who were sent home at the beginning of the pandemic response may never get called back. If a business doesn’t make any money, they can’t afford to pay employees. And if he continues to keep people panicked about leaving their homes, they won’t be able to pay for products or services that business makes or offers.

Wolf claims to be a former business owner but clearly has no business acumen. Was his business planting money trees? Surely, he knows money doesn’t grow on them but following his pandemic shutdowns, he’s encouraging employees to demand they get paid more — $600 a week more! — or refuse to show up for work.

Rather than sympathize with those business owners, Wolf just pushes his socialist agenda. Part of that agenda is demanding up to $15 an hour as the new minimum wage in Pennsylvania. This isn’t the only time he’s done this during coronavirus press conferences but this is the latest incident.

The governor should take that pinko nonsense somewhere else. It has no place in Pennsylvania and certainly no place in America.

Thanks for the article! You’ve reminded me of why I left the coal region twenty years ago, never to return.

The purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.
A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.
