Schuylkill County Fair officially opens its gates to the public on Monday afternoon.
Admission to the fair is $5 for anyone over the age of 10. It includes parking, entertainment, contests, and exhibits.
Additional admission of $5 is for truck and tractor pulls on Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM.
Gates open at 11 AM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and at 4 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Monday, July 28 – Pulling Day
Opening Day! Sponsored by M&T Bank, the fair opens to the public at 4 PM.
Highlights include:
- The Queen and Princess Contest kicks off on the main stage at 4 PM, followed by the Royalty Crowning at 6 PM.
- The Dairy Judging Contest begins at 6:15 PM.
- At 7 PM, the track roars to life with Pull Off Productions, LLC, featuring events like 2.6 Pro Street, 3.0 Limited Pro, Pro Street Gas, Wild Street, and Street Semis.
- Also at 7 PM: an Equine Demonstration in the Horse Barn Round Pen.
- Musical entertainment by Looker & the Knockout Horns will be featured on stage at 7 and 9 PM.
Tuesday, July 29 – Kids Day
Opening early at 11 AM, this day is all about family fun. Sponsored by Alpine Building Supply, activities begin with a day-long Lucky Horseshoe Craft in the Horse Barn.
- Kids Contests begin at noon, running every half hour.
- Goodtimes Amusement Rides open at 1 PM.
- Enjoy a Schuylkill Ballet performance at 1 PM on stage.
- The Equine Demonstration returns at 3 PM.
- From 5 to 8 PM, the BAAAhd Girls Sheep to Shawl Team will demonstrate their craft indoors.
- At 5 PM, check out the Rabbit Hopping Contest, followed by the Pedal Tractor Pull at 5:30 PM.
- Mini cowboy/cowgirl photo ops run from 5–7 PM.
- At 7 PM, Atlantic Pro Pulling LLC takes over the track with big machines and power pulls.
- Entertainment continues with Zenith playing sets at 7 and 9 PM.
Wednesday, July 30 – Military & First Responders Day
Gates open at 4 PM, sponsored by Schaeffer’s Motor Sports.
A moving Presentation of Colors by Veterans of the Vietnam War happens at 5 PM, followed by a Quilts of Valor Ceremony at 5:30 PM.
- The Livestock Skill-A-Thon takes place in the Ag Arena at 6 PM.
- Tractor pulls return with Pull Off Productions, LLC and Farm Stock action at 7 PM.
- A Boilo Contest begins at 7:30 PM, and Statler Brothers Grandsons Jack and Davis Reid perform on stage at 7 and 9 PM.
- Equine enthusiasts can visit the Horse Barn Round Pen at 7 PM for another demonstration.
Thursday, July 31 – Senior Appreciation Day
Opening at 11 AM, and sponsored by Hometown Farmers Market, this day features special programming for seniors.
- At 4 PM, buyers check in for the 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction, which starts at 5 PM in the Ag Arena.
- At 5 PM, Corn Hole Tournament registration begins at the track, with matches starting at 6 PM.
- Jimmy Holmes (Elvis) entertains at 7 and 9 PM, while the Equine Demonstration returns again at 7 PM.
Friday, August 1 – Country Day
Gates open at 4 PM, sponsored by the Schuylkill County Commissioners.
- The afternoon starts with a 3 PM Animal Obstacle Course and Lucky Horseshoe Crafts from 3–6 PM.
- Fair officially opens at 4 PM.
- From 5–6:30 PM, get your Cowboy/Cowgirl Mini Pictures.
- At 5:30 PM, see another Equine Demonstration, followed by a Threshing Demonstration at 6 PM.
- At 7 PM, try the Hay Bale Toss or head to the Ag Arena for Line Dancing with DJ Chicken Nugget.
- On stage: Alyssa & Wayne Brewer: A Tribute to George Jones and Tammy Wynette performs at 7 and 9 PM.
Saturday, August 2 – Schuylkill County Day
The busiest day of the fair opens at 11 AM, sponsored by Explore Schuylkill.
- The Open Horse Show begins at 8 AM.
- Antique tractor fans can register at 9 AM for the 10 AM Pull.
- The Master Showman Contest starts at 11 AM, followed by Livestock Judging at 3 PM.
- Cowboy/Cowgirl Pictures run from 2–4 PM.
- At 4 PM, the Goodtimes Rides begin, followed by the Princess Parade at 4 PM and Kiddie Parade at 5 PM.
- Finish the night with DJ Chicken Nugget Line Dancing and Southern Steel: A Skynyrd Tribute on stage at 7 and 9 PM.
