Our Furiday Friends series continues this week with a very playful Jack Russell and a cat that needs a patient adopter who each need a new, loving home. All three are available for adoption right now at Hillside SPCA in Pottsville.
Look below to see how to make these Furiday Friends your new best friends today.
Let’s meet this week’s crew:
Shirley

Shirley is about 2-3 years old. She’s very shy and likes it best when she’s alone.
Whoever decides to invite Shirley into their home would need to be patient and earn her trust. But make no mistake, she’s definitely no meanie.
Shirley, like her sister, came to Hillside missing her back left foot. Otherwise, Shirley is up-to-date on her shots and negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.
Whopper

Whopper is a chunky, 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier. Although he may be 10, Whopper is a Spring chicken and plays like a dog half his age.
He loves squeaky toys and chasing cats. Whopper loves going on walks on leash and he enjoys the company of people and kids. He’s selective with other dogs but probably wouldn’t be a great match for someone with a cat.
