Emma Troutman and Garrett Sukeena continue to pace Minersville this season and shared medalist honors on Wednesday to notch the team’s second straight victory. Meanwhile, Steven Karinch continues to dazzle for the Green Wave, which improved their record to 2-2 on the season during matches on Wednesday in Schuylkill League golf.

Here is a look at results from Wednesday’s matches in Schuylkill League golf.
Minersville 375, Mahanoy Area 398
Minersville built a decisive advantage at the top of its lineup to secure a 23-stroke road victory over Mahanoy Area, 375–398, at Mountain Valley Golf Course.
Emma Troutman and Garrett Sukeena led the way for the Battlin’ Miners, sharing co-medalist honors with matching rounds of 81. Sukeena surged after the turn, firing a match-low 37 on the back nine. Trista Troutman (105) and Lexi Sukeena (108) or Sheldon Fickes (108) supplied the remaining counting scores for Minersville.
Mahanoy Area was led by Connor Bowman, who turned in a team-best 90. Jake Taris (97), Mike Gambone (104), and Declan Kane (107) rounded out the top four counting cards for the Golden Bears.
Nativity 330, Pine Grove 360
Nativity put together a commanding performance at Blue Mountain View to secure a 30-stroke victory over Pine Grove, 330–360.
Steven Karinch put on a display for the Green Wave, firing a brilliant match-low 70 to claim medalist honors. Nativity backed up Karinch’s big round with counting cards from Layne Parker (82), Bo McDonald (89), and Harry Marx (89).
Pine Grove was led by Evan Moyer, who carded a team-best 82. Mason Troutman (85), Kaiden Umbenhauer (94), and Liam Levan (99) completed the top four scores for the Cardinals.
