The Schuylkill Stampede Rodeo returns to the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 17
At last year’s inaugural event, several thousand people crowded the fairgrounds for the rodeo.
Festival grounds open this year at 1 p.m. with free admission. Afternoon activities include two live country bands, local food trucks, Yuengling beer, a petting zoo, pony rides, mechanical bull riding and vendor booths.
New for 2026, visitors can take free line dancing lessons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The main rodeo begins at 5 p.m. and features bull riding, barrel racing and mutton bustin’.
While festival admission is free, separate tickets are required for the rodeo. Options include general admission and VIP packages, which feature preferred seating, food and beverages.

General admission tickets cost $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12, plus fees. Children five and under enter free. General admission seating is first come, first served.
VIP tickets cost $65 for adults and $20 for youth ages 6-18, plus fees. VIP admission includes preferred seating, food and Yuengling beer. Children five and under receive free VIP entry.
