A line of thunderstorms that crossed Schuylkill County late Saturday afternoon knocked out electric service to thousands of PPL Electric customers.
Emergency dispatchers have sent fire companies in Schuylkill County to reports of trees and wires down, likely a result of strong wind gusts that accompanied storms.
As of 1:00 p.m. Sunday, about 500 homes and businesses in Schuylkill County are without electricity. Here’s a list of municipalities experiencing outages (as of 1 p.m. Sunday):
