State Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that sped into Schuylkill County on Route 183 on Tuesday night.
At about 8:20 p.m., Troopers from the Hamburg barracks say they tried conducting a traffic stop on a silver Audi sedan featuring window tinting with a paper registration that was traveling northbound on Route 183 in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County.
The driver of that vehicle failed to stop for police and instead reach high rates of speed, eventually going into Wayne Township in Schuylkill County. Police say they lost their visual on the vehicle at that time as it continued northbound.
Anyone with information about this vehicle is asked to contact the PSP-Hamburg barracks at 610-562-6885.
