Tamaqua Community Day Returns for a Full Day of Family Fun, Entertainment, and Community Celebration

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of Tamaqua Community Day, taking place on Saturday, June 6, at the beautiful Owl Creek Reservoir from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This highly anticipated annual event will bring together families, local organizations, businesses, vendors, and community members for a day packed with activities, entertainment, food, and outdoor fun. Attendees can enjoy live demonstrations, children’s activities, fishing seminars and bucket casting presented by Schuylkill Headwaters, community organizations, vendors, food trucks, live animals, music, and much more throughout the day.

A wide variety of food options will be available including Owl Creek pizza sales, Happy Family BBQ, Sweet Inclusion smoothies, La Providencia Tacos, Odd Fellows cotton candy, Hope & Coffee, and Lonestar Sno Cones.

The event is designed to celebrate the spirit of community while showcasing the many organizations, businesses, and volunteers that help make Tamaqua such a special place to live and visit.

“We are incredibly excited for this year’s Tamaqua Community Day,” said Aimee Dotson, Executive Director of the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. “This event truly represents the heart of our community. We are so grateful for the overwhelming support from our sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, and community members who continue to make this event possible year after year. Seeing families come together to enjoy a fun and welcoming day is what it’s all about.”
