Canary Rescue Crew: Brandy (You’re a Fine Feline) ⚓🐾

What a good friend she would be

There’s a town ‘tween Shenandoah and Brandonville, and it serves a hundred ships a day… well, maybe not ships, but it’s where our sweet Brandy was found sitting right in the middle of the road this past March.

When Brandy first cast her eyes upon us, she was a sailor who had been lost at sea for far too long. She was severely emaciated, weighing a heartbreaking 4 pounds, and missing a lot of her beautiful tortie fur due to a bad run-in with some fleas. But just like the song says, Brandy is a fine girl and she is a fighter!

Today, she has put the stormy weather behind her thanks to the care she’s received from the staff at Hillside SPCA. She’s bulked up to a healthy 6 pounds, and her gorgeous tortoiseshell coat is growing back in nicely, shining bright like a summer’s day.

But wait, the sailors say there’s something extra special about her… Brandy is a polydactyl! That’s right, she has extra toes on every single paw. Those big, beautiful, mitten-paws are guaranteed to steal a sailor (or any adopter) from the sea. She’s got more toes for making biscuits, more toes for batting at feather wands, and more toes to walk right into your heart.

Brandy doesn’t want a man whose life, lover, and lady is the sea. She wants a cozy couch, a sunny window, and a forever family to call her own.

Brandy, you’re a fine girl… what a best friend you would be! If you’re ready to give this brave, extra-toed survivor the life of luxury she deserves, come meet her today!
