It’s Furiday Friends on Coal Region Canary!
Each week, we team up with Hillside SPCA to highlight a pet who’s been waiting far too long for their forever home.
This week’s featured friend is Boston, a 1½-year-old terrier mix with boundless energy, a friendly heart, and the kind of personality that makes every walk more fun.
Boston is playful, social, and loves being on the move. He does great with other dogs and is good with kids, making him a strong match for an active family.
On walks, he shines. He is well mannered, attentive, and eager to explore.
Back at the shelter, Boston shows off his good habits by keeping a clean kennel, which is a clear sign of a dog who understands routine and structure.

Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week.
