State Rep. Jamie Barton (R-124) will host his third annual Senior Expo on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Landingville Fire Company, located at 1 Firehouse Road in Landingville.
The expo gives residents the opportunity to learn about resources and programs provided by state government, as well as local nonprofit and community groups in the area.
Health care providers will also offer several health screenings.
“Surviving on a fixed income is not easy,” Barton said. “Costs have been rising for years. Fortunately, our area has plenty of resources available tailored to help older Pennsylvanians. But they’re not always easy to find. That’s why I’m bringing them all under one roof to make a one-stop shop for our seniors!”
There is no need to RSVP for this event. For additional information, residents may call Barton’s office at 570-668-1240.
