Our Furiday Friends series continues this week with a special 4th of July celebration and we’re looking to connect some very friendly animals at Hillside SPCA in Pottsville with their new best friends.
Let’s meet this week’s patriotic crew:
Delilah
Delilah really needs a forever home. She’s 10 years old and has spent half her life at Hillside. Delilah arrived at the shelter when her owner had to move.
She’s good with other cats and dogs. This is a laid back cat who generally keeps to herself. She’s a big fan of napping.
Delilah is up-to-date on her shots and is negative for leukemia and feline AIDS.
Let’s get her into the forever home she deserves as soon as possible.
Rick
Rick is a 3-year-old lab mix.
He can be dog selective and will be cat-tested if necessary. Rick showed up at the shelter as a stray.
He’s got a lot of playful energy and likes snacks. Rick is extremely motivated by food. This guy surely won’t be at Hillside for very long … just look at that face! Get those applications in as soon as possible.

Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week.
