The Schuylkill County Democratic Committee is planning to host a Labor Rally next month in Shenandoah.
On Saturday, July 12, the organization will host the raly at Miner’s Memorial at Girard Park in Shenandoah, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Former US Rep. Conor Lamb is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the rally.
Schuyklill County Democratic Committee says the rally is designed to show the organization’s support for worker’s rights, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, livable wages, and the right to organize.
About a dozen local labor leaders are also scheduled to appear at the rally, SCDC says.
