Schuylkill County Woman Attempts to Hit Man with Baseball Bat, Misses

Guadalupe Fuentes also accused of threatening to kill man

A Shenandoah woman is facing charges after she allegedly attempted to hit a man with a baseball bat last week.

According to police, Guadalupe Fuentes, 24, grabbed a bat and told a man she was going to kill him. Fuentes took a swing at the man but missed. She then spat on the man, police say.

Eyewitnesses to the incident reportedly backed up this version of the events, according to court documents.

Fuentes has been charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. At her arraignment, she was released on $25,000 unsecured bail. She’s been ordered to appear before District Magistrate Judge Anthony Kilker for a preliminary hearing on July 3.
