Our Furiday Friends series continues this week and we’re looking to get two very special animals a forever home.
Let’s meet this week’s crew:
Socko
There’s a lot to love with 3-year-old Socko. This tux tips the scales at about 14 pounds and is currently on a weight management plan.
Socko can be a bit sassy, according to the staff at Hillside SPCA, but when The Canary met her for the first time, she was very outgoing, friendly, and wanted to get pets on that ample belly of hers.
She’s up-to-date on her shots and negative for any bad diseases. Socko is ready to go right away and would make a great companion.
Miso
Miso is one majestic beast. He’s a 4-year-old Akita.
If you’ve got another dog or dogs, Miso is likely to get along with them. He’s also very friendly toward strangers and previously lived in a home with two small children so he’s a family-friendly fella, too.
Miso is a quiet dog and keeps a spotless kennel, staff at Hillside say.
Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA
Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week except Wednesday. On Wednesday, you can visit these furry friends and many more from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
