Parking and traffic restrictions are in place ahead of Saturday’s 13th annual Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5K in Pottsville.
The race gets underway at 9 a.m. and concludes with a post-race block party that ends at 1 p.m.
There are several restrictions in place before and during the event.
There will be no parking in the vendor staging area on Mahantongo St., between Third and Seventh streets, and on Fifth St., between Norwegian and Mahantongo streets, through the completion of post-race activities on Saturday.
There will be no parking along the race route starting at 6 a.m until about noon on Saturday. There will be no motor vehicle traffic permitted along the race route during these times.
The race route will go:
- West on Mahantongo St., from 7th to 19th streets
- North on 19th St., from Mahantongo to Norwegian streets
- West on Norwegian St., from 19th to 22nd streets
- South on 22nd St., from Norwegian to Mahantongo streets
- East on Mahantongo St., from 22nd to 20th streets
- South on 20th St., from Mahantongo St. to Howard Ave.
- East on Howard Ave., from 20th to 12th streets
- North on 12th St., from Howard Ave. to Mahantongo St.
- East on Mahantongo St., from 10th St. to the Finish line
