At-large Suspects in Saint Clair Search Identified

The two suspects who remain at large in connection with the ongoing search in Saint Clair have been identified, at least in part, by police.

On Sunday night, police released limited information and photos of the suspects.

The suspects are identified as:

Jeremiah Begley, 17

Begley is described as being 5-8 and weighing 172 pounds. He has brownish-auburn hair and was last seen wearing a Nirvana T-shirt.

Unknown male

The other male who has eluded police thus far is described as having a darker complexion and a heavier build. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and black shirt.

Police say these two suspects entered the Saint Clair Walmart store Sunday afternoon after the vehicle they were traveling in became disabled following a multi-county pursuit that started in Cumberland County and ended in Schuylkill County.

During the pursuit, one of four suspects – two are already in police custody – fired several pistol rounds at police after they fled a traffic stop. A State Police vehicle was struck.

The search for the at-large suspects has been ongoing since about 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.

When Begley and the other male entered the store, police say, they discarded multiple items of their clothing and stole clothes from the store in an attempt to alter their appearance. Both left Walmart through the southeast emergency exit, police say.

Begley was believed to be wearing a Nirvana T-shirt as he left the store.
