Our Furiday Friends series continues this week with an adorable cat and a very energetic dog that could each use a new best friend. Zena and Groundhog are available for adoption right now at Hillside SPCA in Pottsville.

Let’s meet this week’s crew:
Zena
Zena is a 7-year-old calico.
She’s a very sweet, laid back cat and very independent.
Zena loves people and would do OK with a calmer cat. No dogs for her, though!
She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots and negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.
Groundhog
Groundhog is a highly energetic, 1-year-old husky/shepherd mix.
He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots and he’s been micro-chipped.
Groundhog was brought in as a stray and no one came to claim him. He’s a ball full of energy and loves to play. He would do best with older kids because of his energy level.
Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA
Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week except Wednesday. On Wednesday, you can visit these furry friends and many more from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
