Another ice storm is headed toward Schuylkill County this weekend.
National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Schuylkill County. The Winter Weather Advisory extends from 3 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday.
Up to 2 inches of snow and sleet and two-tenths of an inch of ice is possible.
Specifically for Schuylkill County, according to NWS forecast maps, more snow will fall in northern and eastern Schuylkill County, up to 2 inches. About an inch of snow will falls in western and central Schuylkill County.
Where there’s less snowfall here, there will be more ice. Less than one-tenth of an inch of ice is expected in northern Schuylkill County but more than one-tenth of an inch of ice could glaze the rest of the county.
