Furiday Friends: Meet Swirls and Jack

Let’s get Swirls and Jack a fur-ever home today.

Our Furiday Friends series continues this week with two critters that need very special forever homes and they’re available for adoption right now at Hillside SPCA in Pottsville.

Look below to see how to make these Furiday Friends your new best friends today.

Let’s meet this week’s crew:

Swirls

Swirls is a stunning 3-4 year old calico. She’s spayed, up-to-date on her shots, and negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.

Swirls used to be a very loving girl and friendly with other animals. She was adopted previously but came back and has temporarily lost that loving feeling. Swirls probably wouldn’t do well in a house with other animals right now but she’s a very friendly girl to people.

Jack

Jack is the alpha among he and his fellow puppy friends. He’s just 16 weeks old and a Boston terrier, Australian shepherd, pitbull mix.

Jack is neutered and up-to-date on his shots. The staff at Hillside says he’d do well in a house with another dog.

Being just a puppy, Jack is a bit messy and needs to be trained. Whoever adopts him would need to be patient and willing to train him to be the good boy he’s got the potential to be. He’s very playful.
