Minersville Police Dept. and owners of Big Diamond Speedway, Jake and Jasmine Smulley, are teaming up to provide 200 free meals to the community.
These meals will be available to Minersville area residents on Sunday, Feb. 2, starting at 1 p.m., on a first come-first served basis. Meals will be available at Tony’s Meat Market, 17 E. North St., and include a sub, either turkey or Italian, and a bag of chips.
“We feel that it is important part of policing to give back to the community that has been very supportive of our efforts for so many years,” Minersville Police Chief Jeff Bowers says.
