Our Furiday Friends are back, and what better time to open your heart and home to a new furry companion than during the holiday season?
The pets featured this week are ready to find their forever homes and would make the perfect addition to your family’s festivities.
Take a look at their profiles and consider making them part of your home today.
Now, let’s meet this week’s Furiday Friends:
Tessa and Winnie

Tessa and Winnie came to Hillside together and each time we’ve visited the shelter, they’ve been as you see them in the photo above. They’re basically glued together.
We previously featured Tessa, a 6-year-old orange female, which is rare for orange cats. It’s safe to assume Winnie is the same age. Both came to the shelter because their previous owner was sick.
It’d be great to get these cats into the same home – like yours – so they can prolong this bond that can’t be broken.
Both are friendly cats and will warm up to you when you give them a little attention and earn their trust. Treats, as we recently learned, really help hasten that trust.
Cleo

Cleo is about 4 years old. She doesn’t really like kids, especially smaller children.
Cleo does enjoy the company of male dogs and she’s house-trained. She’s spayed and is mildly active.
Patty

Patty is about 6-7 years old and in the 2 years she’s been at Hillside, no one has put in an application to adopt her. Let’s change that.
She doesn’t like other dogs and she’s not fond of kids either. Patty needs a good bit of time to warm up to whomever decides to take her to her forever home.
She does like tennis balls and is house-trained.
