Our Fur-iday Friends series continues with a new set of lovable cats and dogs looking for their forever homes right away.
Let’s meet this week’s Fur-iday Friends:
Malibu
Malibu is about 1 year old and we believe to be part Maine Coon.
She’s FIV and leukemia negative, up-to-date on her shots, and has been spayed.
Malibu is friendly but generally likes to keep to herself. She’s a great companion for someone looking for a lap cat.
Jasmine
Jasmine is about 3 years old. She’s spayed, up-to-date on her shots and FIV and leukemia negative.
She is very friendly, too, but would probably be best in a home without any other animals, including cats.
Sidney
Sidney is a spayed pitbull that’s about 6 months old.
She’s selective with other dogs and wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with cats. Sidney is playful and would be OK in a home with older children.
Bo
Bo is a shepherd mix and looking for a truly special forever home. He’s neutered and about 4-5 years old.
Whoever adopts Bo would need to be patient in order to take care of his special needs but whoever does adopt him would be getting a very good boy.
He has a pancreatic condition that requires a medication. He’s prone to guarding his food so he wouldn’t be a good fit in a home with children or other animals.
Bo loves tearing apart stuffed toys so you’d either have to have a healthy budget for those or find other toys for him.
Otherwise, Bo is a good boy and very well-trained.
Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA
Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week except Wednesday. On Wednesday, you can visit these furry friends and many more from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
