A Nesquehoning woman is accused of trying to steal nearly $1,200 in clothing at the Walmart store in Rush Township a few days ago.

According to information from State Police-Frackville, Troopers were sent to the Rush Twp. Walmart store at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.

Police learned that Amanda McHose, 36, of Nesquehoning, didn’t scan numerous items of clothing at the self-checkout. The clothing items had a total retail price of $1,190.42.
